WHAT IS 7-LOG KILL?
Log reduction is a mathematical term that is used to express the relative number of living microbes that are eliminated by disinfection.
Hospitals use a disinfectant with a 6- Log kill or higher to help against MRSA and Staph infections from being spread throughout the facility. By appropriately using the EasyDECON that has a 7-Log Kill, the risk of an outbreak or cross Contamination in an office building, hospital, school, hotel, food processing facility, etc. will be reduced. EasyDECON can also be used as a footbath at area entry points and between zones to help reduce cross-contamination arising from movement between areas.
VIRUS RESISTANCE
EasyDECON is a three-part formula containing a surfactant, Hydrogen Peroxide and a booster.
• Part 1 contains surfactants and salts that dissolve various oils, grease and organic load, allowing Parts 2 and 3 to reach the organism.
• Part 2 the Hydrogen Peroxide attacks the protein chain of the contaminant and kills/neutralizes the threat.
• Part 3 reacts with the hydrogen peroxide to form a peracetic acid and expedites the oxidation process.
